On March 19, agents with the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics (OBN), the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and the McAlester Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence in McAlester, leading to the seizure of firearms, ammunition, and suspected drugs.
The warrant targeted a residence believed to be the home of Gerardo Cisneros Jr. According to an affidavit, authorities knocked and announced their presence at the south door of the home, and Cisneros was detained in the back of a marked patrol car.
During the investigation, agents allegedly discovered a Bersa .380 caliber semi-automatic handgun in a dresser drawer, along with a Glock 10mm magazine and 14 rounds of ammunition on a dresser in the living room. In the trunk of a silver Mercury sedan parked on the property, agents found two boxes of 12-gauge shotgun shells, one containing 25 rounds and the other 11 rounds.
They also located a set of digital scales with white residue, a plastic bag containing an off-white powdery substance, suspected to be fentanyl, as well as a Marlboro cigarette box with six round white tablets. In addition, agents seized a red duffle bag and two glass jars containing a green leafy substance, believed to be marijuana.
Cisneros Jr. was charged with unlawful possession of controlled dangerous substance (CDS), possession of firearm in commission of a felony, possession of firearm after former felony conviction, and possession of CDS (fentanyl). He was given a $100,000 bond.
