Tulsa Man Charged After High-Speed Crash in Pittsburg County

A Tulsa man is facing multiple charges after authorities say he led police on a high-speed chase that ended in a crash with juveniles inside the vehicle.

Jhermahntae Qwayshean Green, 34, has been charged in Pittsburg County District Court with endangering others while eluding police, child neglect, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, driving without a valid driver’s license and failure to carry insurance, which are all felonies.

According to court documents, the incident happened April 12, 2026, in Savanna.

An affidavit states a Savanna police officer observed a vehicle traveling north on Highway 69 at approximately 88 miles per hour in a 55 mile-per-hour zone. When the officer attempted to turn around, the vehicle accelerated to speeds up to 100 miles per hour.

Investigators reported the vehicle turned onto North Street and then back toward Highway 69, where it left the roadway and crashed in a field behind a truck stop.

According to the affidavit, the driver exited the vehicle and was taken into custody. Authorities identified the driver as Green.

The affidavit states officers located two juveniles in the vehicle who were unresponsive but breathing. Emergency responders treated the juveniles at the scene before they were transported to a hospital.

Investigators reported a syringe containing a clear liquid substance was found in Green’s sock, along with additional drug-related items. Authorities also reported locating methamphetamine and marijuana.

Green told officers he did not know how he got into the vehicle and said he was given a ride. The affidavit also states the juveniles told police they got into the vehicle with an older male and did not know who he was.

Green was given a $50,000 bond and his next court date is set for April 23.
