Two men are facing felony charges after authorities say a stolen tractor was recovered at a property in Pittsburg County.

Christopher George Shriver, 46, and Andrew Taylor Garrett Rooker, 40, have both been charged in Pittsburg County District Court in connection with the case.

According to probable cause affidavits, deputies were dispatched Sunday, April 19, to a property on Anderson Road in McAlester, identified as Shriver’s residence, in reference to a stolen John Deere tractor.

Investigators reported the tractor was located behind a camper on the property and was later identified by its owner through distinguishing marks and a serial number. Police confirmed the tractor had been reported stolen out of McIntosh County.

According to the affidavits, Shriver told deputies he did not know the tractor was stolen and said it had been brought to his property by other individuals earlier in April.

Investigators reported Rooker was identified as one of the individuals who transported the tractor to the property using a flatbed trailer. The affidavits state Rooker and another individual, identified as Jeffrey Kyle Warren, brought the tractor to the residence.

Online records show that Jeffrey Kyle Warren currently has an active warrant for his arrest out of Washington County.

Authorities say the tractor showed signs of damage, including a broken or missing door, damage to the ignition, a dented bucket and missing tools and equipment.

Court records show Shriver is charged with knowingly concealing stolen property. Rooker is charged with knowingly concealing stolen property and malicious injury to property.

Both men were later arrested in connection with the case, with Rooker receiving a $50,000 bond and Shriver getting a $25,000 bond.
