Mayor Justin Few has proclaimed May 11-15 as “Hospital Week” in the City of McAlester, recognizing the contributions of healthcare workers at McAlester Regional Health Center.
The proclamation honors physicians, nurses, technicians, emergency personnel, therapists, administrators, volunteers and support staff for their service and dedication to the community.
City officials said McAlester Regional Health Center has provided healthcare services to southeastern Oklahoma for generations while continuing to invest in advanced care, technology and community partnerships aimed at improving residents’ quality of life.
The city encouraged residents to thank healthcare professionals and support staff for their work caring for the community.
