A Henryetta man was charged in Choctaw Nation District Court for sex crimes against a child in Pittsburg County.
Records show 38-year-old Claylon Leon Austin was charged this week with second-degree rape and possession of child pornography.
An affidavit filed in the case states the investigation began after the man was caught in bed with a minor. After law enforcement arrived, Austin was found hiding inside a closet and was taken into custody without incident.
The report states Austin initially told investigators that his relationship with the minor was not physical, before later admitting to having a physical relationship with the minor. Nude images of the minor were also found on the man’s phone, according to the affidavit.
Austin is currently being held at the Pittsburg County Jail on a $1.5 million bond.
