Broken Bow: August 8. Elevation is 2 ft. below normal and falling, water temperature 88°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass fair on Alabama rigs, bill baits, crankbaits, in-line spinnerbaits, plastic baits, spinnerbaits, and spoons around brush structure, main lake, points, river channel, shorelines, and standing timber. Eufaula: August 8. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 84°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass fair on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, in-line spinnerbaits, jerk baits, and plastic baits around channels, main lake, points, and rocks. Striped bass, striped bass hybrids, and white bass fair on Alabama rigs, flukes, hair jigs, and sassy shad below the dam, discharge, and tailwater. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish good on cut bait, dough bait, hot dogs, live bait, live shad, and shad around channels, river channel, river mouth, and rocks. Hugo: August 8. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 82°F and murky. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth, spotted, and white bass fair on bill baits, crankbaits, jigs, lipless baits, plastic baits, and spinnerbaits around brush structure, points, riprap, river channel, and standing timber. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish fair on cut bait, live bait, shad, and worms below the dam, spillway, and tailwater. Konawa: August 10. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 90°F and clear. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits and plastic baits around main lake, points, river channel, and weed beds. Striped bass hybrids and white bass good on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, and live shad around coves, inlet, main lake, and river channel. McGee Creek: August 8. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 85°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth and spotted bass good on Alabama rigs, buzz baits, crankbaits, in-line spinnerbaits, minnows, plastic baits, and topwater lures around docks, main lake, points, riprap, rocks, shorelines, and standing timber. Channel and flathead catfish slow on chicken liver, live bait, live shad, shrimp, and stinkbait around channels, docks, main lake, and rocks. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish good on cut bait, shad, stinkbait, sunfish, and worms around brush structure, channels, main lake, points, and standing timber. Texoma: August 10. Elevation is 1 ft. above normal and stable, water temperature 85°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Striped bass fair on live shad and topwater lures below the dam, flats, and main lake. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish good on cut bait, dough bait, and live shad below the dam, points, and river channel. Crappie fair on caddis flies, hair jigs, and jigs around brush structure, coves, and docks. Comments: Fishing this week has been okay. Striper have been good behind the dam on live shad and a few topwater lures. Catfish are good near baited holes, and below the dam on punch bait and live shad.
