Night to Shine, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation, is an event that began in 2015. It is a worldwide prom for individuals with special needs ages 14 and older. The event has celebrated over 500,000 Honored Guests and continues to grow annually. Currently, there are 800+ host churches, 63 countries, and 50 states participating. Night to Shine values, honors, and supports Honored Guests and their families through a prom, centered on God’s love for people with special needs, held simultaneously around the world.
This year will be the seventh year that Community Culture Church has partnered with the Tim Tebow Foundation to host this event; however, it will be the first year that our McAlester Campus is also hosting. We are expecting to celebrate at least 50 Honored Guests. There are several areas to volunteer, some including but not limited to: Buddy, Activities team, Hair/makeup, Medical team, Safety team, Paparazzi, Food services, and Decor. We are in search of vendors and individuals who would be interested in donating, sponsoring items, or discounting services/products.
Night to Shine is a great opportunity for the community to work together to celebrate individuals who often get overlooked or left out. From the red carpet to the dance floor, every Honored Guest is celebrated, crowned a King or Queen, and reminded just how deeply they are loved by God.
