The Pittsburg County Health Department will offer free sports and band physicals for students in grades 7 through 12 on May 2.
The event will take place at the Pittsburg County Health Department, 1400 E. College Ave. in McAlester.
Appointments are required, and space is limited. Parents or guardians must be present during the physical, and students are asked to bring any prescription glasses or contact lenses.
The event is intended for students who are unable to obtain a physical through their primary care provider. However, it is still recommended that students receive physicals from their regular provider when possible.
