Early Voting Happening Thursday in Pittsburg County

Early in-person absentee voting has officially begun in Pittsburg County as the race for Mayor is set to go off. Early voting is something that anyone can participate in, and you don’t need any excuse or reason to vote early. The state of Oklahoma allows early voting for all elections.

The candidates on the ballot include Justin Few, Kevin Beaty, and Jimmy Plummer. Randy Roden will still appear on the ballot but has dropped from the race due to health concerns.

Voting will be open from 8 a.m. through 6 p.m. Thursday.

If you or someone you know is taking part in early voting and has questions, you can reach out to the Pittsburg County Election Board at 918-423-3877. The Pittsburg County Election Board is located at 7 E Chickasaw Ave.
