Oklahoma Grocery Tax Cut Official Today

The Oklahoma Grocery tax cut became official this Thursday, and Oklahomans can breathe a little sigh of relief to see that they no longer will have to deal with the 4.5% state grocery tax.

Here is what Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt and Pro Tem Greg Treat had to say earlier this year about the tax cut.

Oklahoma now becomes the 38th state to eliminate the state grocery tax, and the 46th state to eliminate taxed groceries at the maximum rate.
