McAlester Man Arrested for Throwing Socket Wrench at Victim


A McAlester man was arrested on Monday on the charge of domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Anthony Spencer is accused of throwing a wrench at the victim during an argument that struck her in the face.

According to an affidavit, the victim told police that she and Spencer were arguing in his house when he threw a socket wrench that struck her in the face, causing a laceration. When police arrived, Spencer said that he did not throw anything at the victim and had no knowledge of her injury.

Spencer is being held on a $25,000 bond and his next court date is set for Sep. 19th.
