The McAlester City Council will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall for their final meeting of the month of February in what is a regular session.
Mayor Justin Few will deliver the State of the City Address, followed by a financial update from Chief Financial Officer Sherri Swift. The council will also consider an ordinance amending the city’s budget for fiscal year 2024-2025.
The council will briefly reconvene as the McAlester Airport Authority, McAlester Public Works Authority, and the McAlester Retirement Trust Authority to approve minutes and claims from previous meetings.
The meeting will conclude with a report from City Manager J. David Andren on recent city activities. This will be taking place at City Hall in the Council Chambers, and this meeting is open to the public.
