The deadline to register to vote in the April 1, 2025, Board of Education, Municipal, and Special Elections is March 7, Pittsburg County Election Board Secretary Tonya Barnes said.
To register, individuals must be U.S. citizens, Oklahoma residents, and at least 17½ years old. Voters must be 18 by Election Day. Applications must be received or postmarked by midnight on March 7. Late applications will be processed after the election.
New residents of Pittsburg County must submit a new registration form. Those who have moved within the county can update their address online at oklahoma.gov/elections/ovp or by submitting a new application.
Voter registration forms are available at the County Election Board, post offices, and libraries. The Election Board is located at 7 E Chickasaw Ave. in McAlester and is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 918-423-3877 or email pittsburgcounty@elections.ok.gov.
