The City of McAlester installed a three-way stop at the intersection of Tanglewood Drive and Crooked Oak Lane. The update includes new stop signs and stop bars — thick painted stripes on the pavement indicating where drivers should stop.
The project’s next phase will include additional striping along Tanglewood Drive, which is dependent on weather conditions.
Motorists are advised to use caution while navigating the intersection and to remain alert for traffic pattern changes.
