The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma announced this year’s free concert lineup for the Labor Day Festival in Tvshka Homma.

The three-day festival will be held from Aug. 29 through Aug. 31, 2025, at the Choctaw Nation Capitol grounds in Tvshka Homma.

Red Dirt country artist Stoney LaRue will take the stage on Saturday, Aug. 30 at 7:30 p.m.

He became deeply involved in the late 90s/early 2000s Red Dirt scene in Stillwater, alongside artists like Jason Boland and Cody Canada. Known for songs like “Feet Don’t Touch the Ground” and “Oklahoma Breakdown,” LaRue is celebrated for his heartfelt storytelling and strong connection with fans.

Headlining the Saturday concert is the Josh Abbott Band.

Since getting together at Texas Tech University in the mid-2000s, the band includes Josh Abbott (vocals, guitar), Edward Villanueva (drums), David Fralin (keys, mandolin), Jimmy Hartman (bass), Kris Farrow (electric guitar), Adam Hill (fiddle), and Cale Richardson (guitar). With fan favorites like “She’s Like Texas,” “Settle Me Down,” and “Oh, Tonight,” they continue to be a fan favorite in the scene.

Sunday performances will once again be dominated by Gospel artists.

The Gold City quartet will open the Sunday performances at 6 p.m.

Since 1980, gospel music fans worldwide have been in love with the trend-setting style of Gold City. With 10 number one songs, multiple radio hits, and numerous industry accolades, this Dove Award-winning quartet has achieved legendary status. In 2017, Gold City was inducted into the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame, forever solidifying as the standard of excellence for gospel quartets.

Katy Nichole will then take the stage at 7 p.m.

Nichole is an American singer and songwriter. Nichole made her debut in 2022, with the release of the single “In Jesus Name” through Centricity Music. “In Jesus Name” was Nichole’s breakthrough hit, having reached number one on Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs chart and Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart.

Cain will wrap up the night with their 8:30 p.m. performance.

Raised in Hartselle, Alabama, CAIN – Madison Cain Johnson, Taylor Cain Matz, and Logan Cain – got their start opening for Dave Barnes and Andrew Ripp in 2012. Over a decade later, this contemporary Christian trio has headlined their own tours and performed with artists like Chris Tomlin and Casting Crowns. They are known for popular songs like “Rise Up (Lazarus)” and “I’m So Blessed.”
