ODWC Fishing Report for June 11, 2025

Here is the latest fishing report for Southeast Oklahoma lakes and rivers from the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation. Each lake report is curated by a local game warden, biologist, or fishery technician.

Arbuckle: June 3. Elevation is 1 ft. above normal and stable, water temperature 71°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth bass fair on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, and plastic baits around creek channels and points. Channel catfish fair on cut bait and punch bait around creek channels, and flats. White bass fair on jigs and minnows around brush structure and main lake. Report submitted by Casey Young, game warden stationed in Murray County.

 

Blue River: June 3. Elevation is 0.5 ft. above normal and rising, water temperature 76°F and murky. (USGS Lake Level) Channel catfish good on cut bait, punch bait, stinkbait, and worms around brush structure, channels, and rocks. Report submitted by Ethan Lovelace, biologist at the Blue River Public Fishing and Hunting Area.

 

Broken Bow: June 10. Elevation is 3 ft. above normal and falling, water temperature 73°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass good on Alabama rigs, bill baits, buzz baits, crankbaits, flukes, in-line spinnerbaits, plastic baits, small lures, and spinnerbaits around brush structure, creek channels, main lake, points, shorelines, and standing timber. Crappie fair on hair jigs, jigs, minnows, and small lures around brush structure, creek channels, flats, points, river mouth, shorelines, and standing timber. Blue and channel catfish good on chicken liver, cut bait, punch bait, and stinkbait around channels, coves, points, river channel, and river mouth. Report submitted by Dru Polk, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.

 

Eufaula: June 6. Elevation is 7 ft. below normal and rising, water temperature 77°F and murky. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass fair on crankbaits, jerk baits, and plastic baits around riprap, rocks, standing timber, and weed beds. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish good on cut bait, dough bait, shad, and stinkbait below the dam, channels, river channel, and river mouth. Crappie fair on hair jigs and minnows around brush structure and docks. Report submitted by Jake Rowland, game warden stationed in McIntosh County.

 

Hugo: June 6. Elevation is 21 ft. above normal and rising, water temperature 73°F and murky. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth, spotted, and white bass fair on crankbaits, lipless baits, plastic baits, and topwater lures around brush structure, coves, points, and riprap. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish fair on chicken liver, cut bait, live bait, and sunfish below the dam, main lake, and river channel. Crappie fair on minnows and tube jigs around brush structure, points, and standing timber. Report submitted by Chance Phillips, game warden stationed in Choctaw County.

 

Konawa: June 8. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 72°F and clear. Largemouth bass excellent on crankbaits and plastic baits around main lake, points, and weed beds. Striped bass hybrids and white bass excellent on crankbaits and live shad around discharge, main lake, and river channel. Channel catfish good on chicken liver, cut bait, and shrimp around coves, riprap, and weed beds. Report submitted by Garret Harley,

Lower Mountain Fork River: June 6. Elevation is normal and rising, water temperature 59°F and murky. Rainbow trout fair on crickets, PowerBait, and worms around channels, rocks, and spillway. Report submitted by Mark Hannah, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.

 

McGee Creek: June 6. Elevation is 6 ft. above normal and rising, water temperature 77°F and murky. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth and spotted bass good on Alabama rigs, bill baits, buzz baits, crankbaits, minnows, plastic baits, and topwater lures around brush structure, docks, main lake, points, riprap, rocks, shallows, shorelines, and standing timber. Channel and flathead catfish good on cut bait, dough bait, live bait, live shad, shad, shrimp, and worms around dam, discharge, docks, and riprap. Report submitted by Shay Loudermilk, game warden stationed in Atoka County.

 

Murray: June 8. Elevation is 3 ft. above normal and stable, water temperature 72°F and stained. Largemouth and smallmouth bass slow on in-line spinnerbaits, small lures, and spoons around brush structure, dam, main lake, shallows, and weed beds. Crappie slow on grubs, jigs, small lures, and worms around brush structure, dam, main lake, and weed beds. Channel and flathead catfish fair on crawfish, grasshoppers, live bait, stinkbait, and worms around channels, dam, and main lake. Report submitted by R. Pine Creek: June 6. Elevation is 10 ft. above normal and rising, water temperature 73°F and murky. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits and plastic baits around coves and flats. Crappie good on jigs around brush structure. Channel catfish good on cut bait, hot dogs, and worms below the dam and creek channels. Report submitted by Mark Hannah, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.

 

Robert S. Kerr: June 7. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 74°F and murky. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass fair on buzz baits, crankbaits, jigs, minnows, and small lures around brush structure, coves, shallows, and shorelines. Crappie fair on hair jigs, in-line spinnerbaits, live bait, and minnows around brush structure, main lake, points, and shorelines. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish good on chicken liver, cut bait, hot dogs, shad, and stinkbait around channels, creek channels, river channel, sandbar, shallows, and shorelines. Report submitted by James Pixley, game warden stationed in Haskell County.

 

Sardis: June 6. Elevation is 3 ft. above normal and rising, water temperature 75°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth bass good on bill baits, buzz baits, crankbaits, lipless baits, plastic baits, and spinnerbaits around brush structure, channels, coves, points, shorelines, and standing timber. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish good on chicken liver, cut bait, goldfish, shad, stinkbait, sunfish, and worms below the dam, brush structure, channels, main lake, points, and standing timber. Crappie good on jigs, minnows, and tube jigs around brush structure, channels, and standing timber. Report submitted by Thomas Gillham, game warden stationed in Pushmataha County.

 

Texoma: June 8. Elevation is 8 ft. above normal and falling, water temperature 86°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Striped bass fair on live shad around channels, main lake, points. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish good on cut bait, live shad, punch bait, stinkbait around channels, coves, docks, river mouth, tailwater. Flathead catfish and crappie slow on grubs, hair jigs, jigs, and minnows around coves and standing timber. Comments: If you can find clean water then you can get some striper to catch. The lake is slowly starting to get better. Catfish are still good near flooded bank with brush. Crappie are biting near brush and docks with brush. Report submitted by Garrett Beam, game warden stationed in Marshall County.

 

Wister: June 6. Elevation is 14 ft. above normal and falling, water temperature 80°F and stained. (USACE Current Lake Level) Largemouth bass slow on jigs and plastic baits around brush structure. Blue catfish fair on cut bait, hot dogs, and shad around main lake. Crappie fair on jigs and minnows around brush structure, main lake, and river channel. Report submitted by James Williams, game warden stationed in Le Flore County.
