Three people were arrested Tuesday after a brief high-speed chase led police to a vehicle containing drugs, paraphernalia, and prescription pills, according to a Pittsburg County Sheriff’s Office affidavit.
A deputy said he spotted Jacob Ketchum, 34, with a suspended license, driving a maroon SUV near North Hickory Street and Legends Lane around noon on June 10. When the officer attempted a traffic stop, Ketchum fled at a high rate of speed before pulling into a driveway on Legends Ln., where they were eventually detained.
According to an affidavit, inside the vehicle, police found Ketchum along with two women: Tiffany Godwin, 34, who reportedly told officers she had an outstanding warrant, and Jessica Shed, 30. A warrant check confirmed all three had active warrants out of Pittsburg County.
During a subsequent search of the vehicle, officers allegedly found a variety of controlled substances, including marijuana, methamphetamine, methadone, pseudoephedrine, and multiple prescription medications including Lorazepam (X4), Alprazolam (X2), Buprenorphine Naloxone (X1), Percocet (X3), and Clonazepam in two color forms (blue X7 and green X3), as well as drug paraphernalia.
Godwin’s bond was set at $50,000. Ketchum’s bond was set at $25,000, and Shed’s bond was set at $15,000. All three were booked into the Pittsburg County Jail. The narcotics were submitted to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation for analysis.
