The Kiamichi Economic Development District of Oklahoma (KEDDO) has launched a regional community survey as part of its Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) 2025–2030.
The survey invites residents, business owners, Tribal Nations, educators, healthcare providers, students, and community leaders across Choctaw, Haskell, Latimer, LeFlore, McCurtain, Pittsburg, and Pushmataha Counties to share their input on local needs and priorities.
The CEDS is a federally recognized planning document that guides economic growth and development for the region. Projects identified in the CEDS are often required for eligibility when applying for federal grants, particularly through the U.S. Economic Development
Administration (EDA).
“Updating the CEDS is one of the most important things we do as a region,” said Hannah Royce, Projects Director at KEDDO. “If we want to bring in resources for broadband, housing, small business support, downtown revitalization, or workforce training, those projects need to be in the plan. That’s why hearing directly from people who live and work here is so critical.”

Paper copies are available for those without internet access. The survey will remain open through Nov. 1, 2025.
