McAlester Man Facing Multiple Felony Charges Following Arrest

A McAlester man was arrested last week in connection with a reported attempted vehicle burglary and now faces multiple charges, including domestic assault and petit larceny. Authorities say the suspect was identified after surveillance footage showed him inside a resident’s car on West Kiowa Avenue last November.

Casey Don Clark, 23, was arrested and booked into the Pittsburg County Jail. According to the affidavit, the victim’s daughter discovered a man in the driver’s seat of her car on Nov. 12, 2025. The suspect fled after being startled, leaving behind a toiletry bag and taking only a $10 bottle of perfume.

Clark faces several pending cases dating back to 2022, including two counts of domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, petit larceny, and third-degree burglary.

Court records show a long history of failures to appear in court, resulting in forfeited bonds and multiple bench warrants. He has also been transported for specialty court programs, but repeatedly missed scheduled court appearances, prompting repeated warrants for his arrest.

The most recent arrest comes shortly after he failed to appear for a February 9, 2026, mental health court session, despite prior bench warrants being served in January.

Clark was given a $65,000 bond, and he is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Feb. 26, at 9 a.m.
