The City of McAlester is accepting bids from contractors to provide mowing and nuisance abatement services on properties across the city.
According to a notice from the city, the services include cutting and mowing weeds on residential lots, vacant lots and larger acreage properties with varying grass heights and lot sizes.
Sealed bids must be submitted on official city bid documents and will be opened at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 12, in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Building, 28 E. Washington Ave.
City officials said the contract may be awarded to one or more contractors to perform the work. The city also reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive irregularities or formalities.
