McAlester Mayoral Runoff Elections Results


The polls have come to a close on the Aug. 27th runoff election for the McAlester Mayor. With over 1,500 total votes counted, Justin Few will take over as the next mayor in McAlester. These results also include the early voting results that took place on Aug. 22nd.

Few took the number one spot with 51% of the total vote with 781 total votes. Kevin Beaty came in second with 41% of the vote with 635 total votes. Randy Roden, who dropped from the race on Aug. 19th, received 5% of the vote with 79 total votes, and Jimmy Plummer garnered the final 2.35% of the vote with 36 total votes.

Few is set to take over for current Mayor John Browne when his term expires.
