- When is the Fall Cleanup?
It runs October 5-6 and October 12-13. - What are the hours?
Saturdays: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sundays: Noon to 3 p.m. - What can be dropped off?
Acceptable items: trash, electronics, metal, tires, and brush. - Where to go?
Drop off at the McAlester Recycling Center, 301 E. Polk Ave. - What’s the drop-off route?
Enter via Sixth Street, then west on East Polk Avenue. - Are electronics accepted?
Yes, all electronics (battery or plug-in) go inside the armory. - Is brush accepted?
Yes, but only at the McAlester Municipal Landfill, 2910 Mitchell Road. - Need volunteers?
Yes, volunteers (16 and up) are always welcome. Check in at the armory for gloves and a vest. - Any advice for drop-offs?
Bring help to unload. If you come alone, you may have to unload by yourself. - How else can people help?
Volunteers are needed at events and board meetings. Donations are welcome but not required during the Fall Cleanup.
