This week on KNED, McAlester Band Director Mark Price and Vice President of band boosters Rebecca Smith joined our own Megan Waters for an interview to discuss the current on goings and plans of the MHS band.
The main point of conversation was directed at the bingo night event that is being hosted by the MHS band on Thursday, Jan 30.
Smith goes into more detail of what to expect from the event on Thursday.
It’s $35 for 20 games, which does not include the 50/50. Doors will open at 5 p.m. and there will be refreshments and snacks for all in attendance. There is also a silent auction taking place that will have plenty of prizes available as well and all proceeds go to the band boosters.
Price explains what the band boosters do to help the program.
