After years of community interest, McAlester and Krebs residents will participate in the cities’ inaugural Spring City-Wide Garage Sale on April 25 and 26.
The two-day event will span neighborhoods across both communities, offering participants the opportunity to sell unwanted items or hunt for bargains at homes throughout the area. Organizers said full maps and address listings for participating homes will be released closer to the event date.
The event is free to join, and no permits or fees are required. McAlester and Krebs officials said the sale is designed to bring neighbors together for a weekend of spring cleaning, treasure hunting, and community connection.
Those wishing to participate as sellers must register their address by noon on Friday, April 18. Registration is available online at https://mcalester.rja.revize.com/forms/11158. Voicemail messages should include the participant’s name, address, and a call-back number.
Organizers encourage the public to take advantage of the opportunity to “turn clutter into cash” and “score unbeatable deals and hidden gems.”
