Vehicle-1: 2025 GMC Yukon, driven by Eidem, Charles E (SIC), age 78, from Alexandria, Minnesota . The driver was expired at the scene due to injuries sustained in the collision, transported to Medical Examiners officer in Oklahoma City, OK.
Passenger-1: Eidem, Carole (SIC) W/F, age 78, from Alexandria, Minnesota. The passenger was expired at the scene due to injuries sustained in the collision, transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Oklahoma City, OK.
Vehicle-2: 2025 Peterbilt semi. The driver was transported by Air Evac to Medical City Plano, admitted in stable condition, will be treated and released.
What Happened: Vehicle-1 was southbound on US-69, Vehicle-2 was northbound on US-69, Vehicle- 1 went left of center and struck Vehicle- 2. Vehicle- 2 departed the roadway to the right and overturned one time. Vehicle- 1 continued southbound, caught fire and completely burned.
Condition of Driver – Vehicle- 1- unknown, Vehicle-2- apparently normal.
Cause of Collision – Left of center.
Seat belts – Equipped, in use by all.
Airbags – Vehicle- 1 unknown, Vehicle- 2 not applicable.
